Service Terms and Conditions
This English version is provided for convenience only. In case of any discrepancies, the Polish version of these terms is binding.
§1. General provisions
Repair services are provided by Maryna Danylchenko, NIP (tax ID) 7010742818, REGON 54225987600000 (the “Service”), drop-off point: ul. Gen. Jankego 142, 40-613 Katowice. Contact: [email protected], phone +48 501 451 602.
These terms set out the rules for accepting devices for repair — in person at the service point and via the online portal repair.mediamistrz.eu — as well as the rules for diagnostics, quoting, carrying out repairs and returning equipment.
MediaMistrz is an independent repair service. The DJI, Dyson, Dreame, Roborock and Bambu Lab names and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used solely to identify the equipment being repaired.
§2. Submitting and accepting the device
- Submitting a request via the online portal does not yet constitute a repair contract. The contract is concluded when the Service physically receives the device and confirms its acceptance (order number).
- You can deliver the device in person during opening hours, or send it by courier or InPost parcel locker. Please include the request number, or your contact details (full name, phone number) and a description of the fault, with the shipment.
- The Service confirms receipt of the device by phone, e-mail or in the portal.
- The Service may refuse to accept a device, in particular where it does not match the description in the request, the repair is technically impossible, or the device shows signs of criminal origin.
- The customer must back up the data stored on the device before handing it over. The Service is not liable for data left on the device, memory cards or other media, stickers or protective films on devices, or for data loss resulting from diagnostics or repair.
§3. Diagnostics and quote
- Diagnostics is ALWAYS free of charge — including when, after receiving the quote, the customer declines the repair or the device-replacement offer. The Service charges no diagnostic or “assessment” fee.
- The quote is normally presented within 5 business days of receiving the device; where parts need to be ordered — within 10 business days.
- The repair starts only once the customer has accepted the quote (in the portal, by e-mail or by signature at the service point).
- If additional faults affecting the cost are discovered during the repair, the Service contacts the customer before continuing the work.
- Free diagnostics does not cover transport costs — see §6.
§4. Repair and device replacement (DJI)
- The estimated repair time is given with the quote and depends on the type of fault and the availability of parts; the Service informs the customer of any significant changes.
- For DJI equipment, instead of a repair the Service may offer a replacement with a brand-new, unactivated unit. The price, availability and terms of the replacement are given in the quote each time.
- The replacement offer is the Service’s own service and is NOT DJI Care Refresh or any other manufacturer programme.
- Components replaced during the repair are disposed of, unless the customer requests their return when accepting the quote.
§5. Repair warranty
- The Service grants a 12-month warranty on the completed repair, counted from the day the device is handed back.
- The warranty covers the work performed and the replaced components; it does not cover faults unrelated to the repair, mechanical or liquid damage occurring after the device was handed back, third-party interference, or normal wear of consumables.
- This service warranty does not limit the consumer’s statutory rights (conformity with the contract).
§6. Returning the device and transport costs
- Once the repair is finished (or declined), the device is handed over in person or shipped by courier or parcel locker to the indicated address.
- The cost of delivering the device to the Service is borne by the customer. The cost of return shipment after the repair is stated in the quote.
- If the repair is declined, the device is returned in person or by shipment at the customer’s expense. The diagnostics itself remains free (§3).
- The Service notifies the customer when the device is ready for collection (SMS, e-mail or portal).
§7. Uncollected devices
- The customer collects the device within 30 days of being notified that it is ready.
- After this period expires, the Service calls on the customer to collect the device, setting an additional 14-day deadline. After that, the Service may charge a storage fee of PLN 5 for each started day.
- The further handling of devices uncollected despite reminders is governed by applicable law.
§8. Withdrawal from a distance contract
- A consumer who concluded a distance contract (request via the portal and shipment of the device) may withdraw from it within 14 days without giving a reason.
- If the consumer requested that the service start before the withdrawal period expires, they lose the right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed; withdrawing during its performance, they pay for what has been done up to that point.
- Diagnostics at the Service is free, so declining after diagnostics involves no diagnostic fee (consistently with §3).
- A withdrawal statement can be submitted by e-mail to [email protected] or in writing to the Service’s address.
§9. Complaints
- Complaints can be submitted by e-mail to [email protected], in person, or in writing to the Service’s address.
- The Service handles complaints within 14 days of receipt.
§10. Personal data
The rules for processing personal data are described in the Privacy Policy (a separate document available in the site footer).
§11. Final provisions
Amendments to these terms do not apply retroactively to orders accepted before the amendment.
Matters not covered by these terms are governed by Polish law, in particular the Civil Code and consumer protection regulations. Consumers may use out-of-court complaint and redress procedures — including the assistance of municipal or district consumer ombudsmen, the Provincial Inspectorates of the Trade Inspection and the ODR platform.
